Lilayi Lodge is nestled amongst 650 hectares of unspoiled grassland that is home to over 25 different species of mammals and over 300 different species of birds. Any visit to the lodge would not be complete without a game drive lead by one of our extremely knowledgeable guides who have over 20 years of experience introducing guests to the resident giraffe, roan antelope, Lichtenstein’s hartebeest, tsessebe as well as many others which call the park home. Enjoy the Lilayi sunset amongst the animals with a glass of wine or cold drink whilst on a late afternoon game drive.

Running and Walking Trails
Lilay has pristine 2.5km, 5.5km, and 10km walking trails that wind through the picturesque 650-hectare game reserve. It is the perfect place if you are in need a bit of fresh air and a place for exercise amongst the 25 species of animals. Our trails are free to use and maps are available at the reception desk.

You can expect a tantalising marriage between African fusion and contemporary cuisine, made with the creative experience of the Lilayi Chefs. This activity is Ideal for intimate, corporate or special occasion dining. From the elegant Lilayi Chenin Blanc and Rosé to the popular Sauvignon Blanc - all produced to express the distinctive varietal character. The tasting also includes the Winemakers Selection consisting of a red blend of Pinotage, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Franc, and ends with a glass of our Lilayi Sparkling Pinot Grigio Brut.
